This lunar eclipse and the solar eclipse happen on the Aquarius-Leo axis mediating our relationship to individual self-expression and how it interacts with the collective. The full moon/eclipse takes place in Aquarius, ruled by Uranus, **activates our restless and need for change**. It seeks freedom, awakening, and {r}evolutionary potential. An Aquarius moon wants to bring consciousness to the often unconscious needs of the moon. Pay attention to breakthroughs around your emotions and intuition.
This full moon preps us for the solar eclipse on August 21, as it clears what is in the way emotionally for us to be more fully self-expressed (Solar Eclipse).
The **trine to Jupiter** offers a **supportive expansion** into the emotional field and perhaps some light-heartedness and optimism. For the past several weeks **Mars has been conjunct the Sun** and fueling energy, ambition or possible violence. When unintegrated this energy that has nowhere to assert itself and can become violent. Mars when elevated becomes our ambition, leadership, and ability to get things done.
The harmonious, gentle **sextile with Lilith** implies a subtle infusing of the primal, instinctual goddess (aka the Witch as I call her). Seems pretty obvious to me that this archetype is in a major awakening, though I could be biased.;)
